This safari takes you a fascinating trek of the mountain gorillas to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in southern Uganda. The Bwindi Impenetrable National Park the primeval forest is a home to half of the world’s surviving population of the endangered mountain gorillas.

ARRIVAL

You will be collected from the airport by our representative and immediately set of for Bwindi National Park (that is, if you make it around 9am to Entebbe International Airport) or accommodation can be arranged for you at an extra cost.

DAY 1
Gorilla trekking requires one to reach the park a day before the actual trekking of gorillas is done since it starts early in the morning. A professional driver/tour guide will pick you from Entebbe International airport/hotel and depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park as early as 9:15AM. The Bwindi Impenetrable National Park the primeval forest is a home to half of the world’s surviving population of the endangered mountain gorillas.
By road the journey takes around 9hours however, you will have stop overs the first one being at the amazing equator line a spot for pictures and souvenirs. The second stop will be in Mbarara City for lunch. After lunch embark on the hilly terrain to Bwindi National Park. Once you get there you will check in the hotel and relax as you prepare for the next day’s gorilla trekking program

Day 2
On this day you have to wake up early so that by 7am you are through with breakfast then head to the Park center for 30 mins briefing on rules and regulations of seeing Gorillas
Normally it takes something between 3-5 hours to locate the gorillas and 1 hour of taking memorable pictures with them. After that you can learn more about the plants and wildlife in Bwindi and return back to the hotel for a rest. later in the evening you can have a stroll in the Batwa communities to learn about their way of life and traditions. Later you will return to hotel, check out and head to Lake Bunyonyi for a relaxing time

Day 3
You will have breakfast and take around (optional) then return to Kampala/Entebbe for your evening flight or to a guest house for overnight

NB: The guest house in Kampala is fully furnished and you can book it for as many days as you want that is, before the trip or after your trip (at an extra cost)
